Measured points joined by straight lines; the shape between them is not measured.

Measured from the shared library's job records: 663 finished fetch jobs from 29 March 2026 to 24 September 2026, timed from the request until the brand's ads were collected. Creative analysis follows separately and is not included.

How do you request a missing brand?

Adspy's brand fetch starts from the brand's public ad library. Ask your assistant for the brand: it looks the advertiser up in Meta Ad Library or Google Ads Transparency, or takes its library link, quotes the fetch and sends it once you approve. Adspy follows the brand in your workspace, and a progress card follows the collection by itself.

  1. Ask for the brand

Ask your assistant for the brand. It looks the advertiser up in Meta Ad Library (Facebook and Instagram ads) or Google Ads Transparency (including YouTube) with search_advertisers, for free.

  2. Or give its link

Paste its public library link instead: a Meta Ad Library page (with view_all_page_id) or a Google Ads Transparency advertiser page (adstransparency.google.com/advertiser/AR…).

  3. Approve the fetch

The assistant quotes the fetch, 400 credits for a new brand, and sends it once you approve. Adspy passes the request to the library's workers and follows the brand in your workspace.

  4. Watch them arrive

A progress card follows each stage and the ads processed by itself, and the brand's creatives become searchable as they are collected; ask about the job any time, for free (get_fetch_job). When the fetch completes, the card shows the brand's 20 newest ads.

What does Adspy show while a brand is fetched?

Adspy reports each stage of a fetch as the library's workers record it, with the number of ads processed out of the total once a worker reports them. A count the workers have not reported stays blank rather than showing zero, and a finished fetch says so.

  1. Queued

The fetch is queued. Ad counts will appear when the workers start.

  2. Initializing

Finding public ads and preparing the fetch.

  3. Fetching

Processing ads and media assets. Creatives appear as they become available.

  4. Aggregating

Organizing creatives and brand metrics. Aggregation must finish before the fetch is complete.

  5. Done

The brand fetch is complete. Creative analysis may continue separately.

Which brands can you fetch, and what does it cost?

Adspy fetches advertisers from Meta Ad Library and Google Ads Transparency, which includes YouTube advertisers. A fetch runs from your AI assistant on every plan, from the sources it covers. On Starter and Pro it costs 400 credits, charged only when a new request is confirmed, and Unlimited includes new fetches within fair use; a brand already in the library or already requested costs nothing.

How to fetch a brand in Adspy

Adspy's brand fetch runs in your AI assistant, Claude, Claude Code, Codex or any remote MCP client, through the Adspy MCP server. search_advertisers finds the advertiser for free, quote_operation gives the price, request_brand_fetch sends the fetch for 400 credits after your approval, and get_fetch_job checks its progress for free.

In your AI assistant

  1. Connect Adspy to your AI assistant once: Claude, Claude Code, Codex or any remote MCP client. The setup guide has the steps for each.
  2. Ask for the brand, for example "add this advertiser to Adspy". The assistant finds it, quotes the fetch, requests it after your approval and checks progress for free.

What brand fetch does not do

Meta and Google only

Brand fetch reads Meta Ad Library and Google Ads Transparency. TikTok and other networks cannot be fetched, and a YouTube channel link on its own is not accepted: use the advertiser's Transparency page.

Measured, not promised

The 2.3-minute median describes past jobs. A large advertiser or a busy queue can take longer: 10% of measured jobs took more than 8.1 minutes.

Collection first, analysis after

A fetch collects the ads and their media. Creative analysis and AI tags follow in a separate step, so a new brand's ads can appear before their readings.

What the public library shows

A fetch collects the ads the public library lists for that advertiser when it runs. Spend, reach and results are not part of those libraries and are not collected.

Questions about brand fetch

What if the brand is already in Adspy?

Adspy says the advertiser is already in the shared library: nothing is fetched and nothing is charged.

Who can request a brand?

Owners, admins and members of a workspace, on every plan, from a connection allowed to fetch. A viewer's connection can look the advertiser up but asks a team member to request it.

Is Google as fast as Meta?

The Google sample is small: 9 finished jobs, with a median of 0.3 minutes and 13 ads per job. Meta accounts for 654 of the 663 jobs, with a median of 2.3 minutes and 84 ads per job.

What does the fetch cost if it fails?

Nothing. A request that cannot be sent or fails is not charged, and repeated progress checks are free.

Where do the new ads appear?

In search, as soon as each creative is collected. While the fetch runs, the assistant reads its stage and the ads processed with get_fetch_job; when it completes, the assistant shows the brand's 20 newest ads.

Sources and method

Timings come from a read-only query of the shared library's job records on 24 September 2026: every finished job of the fetch type Adspy sends when a missing brand is requested, created from 29 March 2026 onward (663 jobs; 654 Meta, 9 Google). The measure covers every job of that type in the shared library, including jobs requested outside Adspy.

Duration runs from the moment the job was created to the moment it finished collecting the brand's ads. Creative analysis runs afterwards in its own worker and is not included.
